Message	Gas is a solvent...if it runs down past the rings and into the oil, or onto the rod bearings...bad news. Dont know how much gas would need to get in, or if it can even get past the rings...but i guess its possible. If the rest of the engine is in good shape, he may be lucky enough that he can just drop the oil pan and replace the bearings.
